Did you know EasyJet has an airport lounge at Gatwick Airport?
I took a visit before a recent flight and here is my review.
Review: EasyJet Airport Lounge The Gateway, London Gatwick North Terminal.
You can book the Lounge Via Holiday Extras Check out the prices and details here they also do packages for 2 hours or 3 hours. You also get 3 hours use included with EasyJet's FLEXI fares.
The Gateway is operated by Number One lounges, so Number One Lounge is situated next door. With over 118 EasyJet routes from London Gatwick it makes sense for them to have an airport lounge for their own passengers to choose from and this EasyJet lounge is 'Easyjeting!' its bang on brand!
Which terminal do EasyJet use at London Gatwick?
Are you flying with EasyJet from London Gatwick? The vast majority of flights do leave from Gatwick's North terminal, but they do have a handful of flights that do leave from the South terminal (they lease slots from British Airways and they remain South terminal slots) so do double check before you turn up at the airport! It will state your terminal on your boarding card. Or do check Easyjet on their website linked here.
Where is EasyJets Airport Lounge at Gatwick?
Situated on the ground floor of the North Terminal departures at London Gatwick Airport (by all of the lounges are) it's the first lounge you will come too!
Is The Gateway Airport Lounge Gatwick Airport free for EasyJet?
Well of course not! the price is around £40 per person for a 2 hour slot, (at the time of going to press!)
Now bare in mind if you just choose to freestyle it around London Gatwick, one Pret here, Weatherspoons there, one full english or a bite to eat and you will be way over this amount!
Is there a dress code for easyJet lounge Gatwick?
YES, SMART CASUAL, so no juicy tracksuits and comfortable sports type clothes and bare shoulders are not recommended.
Accessibility, all of the lounge is on one level with disabled toilet facilities etc
EasyJet The Gateway Lounge Review
With two, maybe three, fellow jet-setters in a queue for the lounge with just a couple of staff doing their thing. One was on door duty, the other was clearing away plates and tidying the lounge up, they were both absolute gems and very welcoming!
As for the lounge, it was quite quiet, I found myself a nice area to sit and hit the breakfast to earn back the value I had paid! It's a loft style vibe with areas to work, a games area and a TV den, with hot and cold food options and a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.
Food wise it was typical “brits on tour” breakfast buffet, beer, wine etc oh and food, full english, croissants, fruit, they also have a nifty pancake maker.
The food tasted quite fresh but not so much vegetarian options, when I mentioned this to one of the employees and he went and got me two veggie sausages! Impressive!! Love a bit of sausage!
During the day, they still manage to keep on the 'British Grub Vibe' with Jacket potatoes! They also have tacos including an EasyJet branded liquid cheese dispenser!

The place had a bit of a budget airline feel to it. Far from the swanky, high-end lounges, it was more Weatherspoon's than Claridge's, but yes all good it was certainly on brand and the wifi actually worked and the toilets were clean.
What do you get in the EasyJet Airport lounge at Gatwick?
Complimentary buffet hot and cold food menu
Free alcoholic, soft and hot drinks
Wifi
I didn't see any Newspapers, Magazines. (They should have The Sun? Take a break? Closer surely?)
Here is a review I made for Tik Tok, don't forget to follow!
The Verdict
So overall a great experience with a delightful breakfast and a pair of frothy cappuccinos before jetting off to Paris, I just LOVE EasyJet and this is a great lounge to use at Gatwick before departing on a Easyjet flight, au revoir!
