Lounge Review: My Lounge at Luton Airport A Relaxing Haven or Just Another Spot?
Hey fellow Jetsetters! If you’ve ever found yourself flying off from Luton Airport wondering if the My Lounge is worth a visit, let me walk you through my experience.
Where to Find It
You’ll spot My Lounge on the first floor of the departures area, near Accessorize. If you’ve got an hour or two before your gate is called, take the stairs or the lift, it’s hidden just enough to feel exclusive but not hard to find. The floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the bustling terminal below, giving you that people-watching fix, though sadly, no planes in sight. For tarmac views, you’ll need to hop over to the smaller No1 Lounge nearby.
Booking and Discounts
If you’re a frequent traveler with a Priority Pass or certain premium credit cards (such as American Express Platinum), you might already have cheaper or even complimentary access.

First Impressions
Walking in, I immediately noticed the vibe: sleek, open, and much more “industrial chic” than stuffy lounge. Think big windows, cosy seating, and a few fun touches like a retro video game console, who doesn’t love a nostalgic round of Space Invaders while waiting for a flight?
The spacious layout means you’re not on top of your neighbour, and the cleverly zoned furniture makes it easy to find your own little nook. I parked myself by the window, sipping coffee while watching the world below!
Food & Drink – What’s on Offer?
Hungry? The buffet here doesn’t disappoint. You’ll find a decent spread of hot and cold bites, including:
Soup and Salads – Fresh and light, perfect for pre-flight fuel.
Curry & Mac and Cheese– Comfort food at its finest.
Sandwiches and Finger Foods– Quick grab-and-go options.
Sweet Treats
My visit was before 9 am so the food option were packed full of breakfast items
Pancake machine
Full english
Pastries
Fruit salad
I managed to order some Veggie sausage YAY, I also noticed a gluten free menu.
I also loved the hot chocolate station!
Oh, and let’s talk drinks! The bar is fully tended, so if you’re craving a premium beer, wine, or spirit, just ask. You can purchase a glass of champagne prices started at £7.
For those on a non-alcoholic kick, coffee, tea, and juices are self-serve, perfect for a quick caffeine boost, or check out the hot chocolate station.
Top Tip
Bring your refillable water bottle and fill up, before your flight.
The Vibe Check
What stood out to me was how chilled the place felt, even during peak hours. I visited on a busy Sunday morning when you’d expect chaos, but nope—no queues, no overcrowding, just relaxed vibes. The staff were genuinely friendly, always clearing tables and chatting with guests.
Getting In: The Access Lowdown
Super easy for Priority Pass holders no need to book just scan your card and voila a charge is taken from your credit card, both My Lounge and No1 Lounge at Luton accept Priority Pass, DragonPass, and LoungeKey.
Don’t have a Priority Pass? No worries! You can pay around £34 at the door if they have space for walk in bookings.
Is It Kid-Friendly?
If you’ve got little ones in tow, you’ll be glad to know there’s a small play area tucked away from the main space. It’s stocked with games and child-friendly drinks, keeping the young travellers entertained while you enjoy a quiet moment. I have to say though I didn't notice any children in the lounge at all.
The Verdict
My Lounge delivers a solid mix of style, comfort, and convenience.
Compared to the No1 Lounge, My Lounge wins on space and overall vibe, though you’ll miss out on those tarmac views. If you can’t decide, I say try both! Priority Pass holders can use both so why not?
