Why Mykonos?
One of the biggest, prettiest, and trendiest destinations in Greece, Mykonos attracts everyone from cruise passengers and partygoers to the LGBTQ+ community with its vibrant, super-cool vibe. It’s also one of the most expensive islands in Greece, making budget-friendly stays a challenge. But don’t worry—if you’re searching for a cheap hotel in Mykonos, I’ve got you covered.

Mykonos Beach Hotel
I booked my stay here through Booking.com, and let me tell you, it was worth every penny. The location? Fantastic. It’s only a 10-minute walk to Mykonos Town, passing by charming shops and café bars along the way.
It’s also got its own little stretch of beach—Megali Ammos Beach—which was the perfect spot for a morning stroll with the sand between my toes.
The hotel managers? Super friendly. My flight with Wizz Air arrived ridiculously early, and check-in wasn’t supposed to start until 12 PM. But guess what? They let me check in at 10 AM! That’s what I call good service.

Taxi – A quick and easy way to get to town, but taxis are limited, and demand is high. Expect to pay around €20-30 for a short ride.

The Rooms at Mykonos Beach Hotel
The rooms? Basic but charming. It’s got that classic Greek vibe—simple, clean, and plenty of storage. The WiFi worked well, which is always a bonus. Is it luxury? No. But it’s an affordable hotel in Mykonos that gives you a solid base to explore the island without taking out a 25-year loan.
And the balcony views? Absolutely spectacular.
