Norse Airlines Start New Transatlantic Flight routes from London
Norse Atlantic Airways commenced operaions in 2021 using 6 of the former long haul widebody 787 aircraft of Norwegian airlines,
Prior to the covid 19 pandemic Norwegian airlines operated over 10 787 aircraft from various european cities to predominantly transatlantic routes offering low cost long haul flights such as London to Miami, London to New York, Paris to LA . They expanded rapidly 2016-2018 and several times had to be restructered financially.
Even British Airways owners IAG took interest at one point and tried to buy them securing a 3% ownership share.
Then along came the pandemic and in order to survive Norwegian airlines cut down its operations and went back to a short haul low cost airline based in Scandinavia.
