If you’ve ever found yourself with a long layover or an early morning flight at Dubai International Airport (DXB), you’ve probably wondered: is it worth paying for lounge access at Dubai Airport Terminal 3? Well, after my recent experience at the Plaza Premium Lounge, I’ve got the details for you!
Let’s jet straight into what you can expect, how to get in (without breaking the bank), and whether it’s worth your hard-earned cash!
Plaza Premium Lounge Location: Know Before You Go
Located at Gate A3 in Terminal 3, the Plaza Premium Lounge is a great escape from the airport chaos. However, if you’re flying from the B Gates, be warned, it’s a bit of a trek! You’ll need to hop on the monorail, so allow 10-15 minutes to get there.
The lounge is open 24 hours.
Top Tip: Give yourself extra time if you’re transferring between terminals. Dubai Airport is HUGE, and you don’t want to be sprinting to your gate after a relaxing lounge visit!
Can You Pay for Lounge Access at Dubai Airport?
Yes! You don’t need to be flying First or Business Class to get into the Plaza Premium Lounge at Terminal 3. Economy passengers can access it too, either by paying at the door, pre-booking, or using a lounge membership program like Priority Pass (more on that later!).

Personal Highlight: The Asian food selection was incredible, flavourful, fresh, and spicy (not that sad, watered-down version you get in some lounges!).

Alcoholic beverages available, including beer and wine
Champagne is extra, but worth it if you’re celebrating (or just fancy a pre-flight treat!)

Plaza Premium Lounge Dubai Amenities: Showers, Wi-Fi & More
Showers: Available, but they cost extra. If you’re on a long-haul journey, though, it might be worth freshening up before your next flight.
Wi-Fi: Fast and free (thankfully, unlike some lounges that still try to charge for internet access!).
Seating & Comfort: There’s plenty of seating, from comfy recliners to workstations for those needing to get some last-minute work done.
I love all the different styles of seating in Plaza Premium lounges, work, rest, play, dining, nap it has them all! With plenty of them, no need to hunt for a seat in this lounge!
Even private pods with sliding doors just like in First Class!
