If you’ve ever found yourself at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, you know it’s a bustling hub of international travel. But if you’re lucky enough to be flying with one of the oneworld member airlines, you can take a breather in their stunning new Business Class Lounge. Let’s fly straight into what makes this lounge so special!
Convenience at Its Best
Located in the non-Schengen departure area, the lounge is easy to access once you pass through security—a breeze thanks to the new CT scanners that let you keep your liquids and laptops in your bag. With its close proximity to the departure gates for oneworld carriers, you’ll never feel rushed, which is a definite plus. It’s situated between gates D & E on the third floor.
A Bright and Inviting Space
First things first: the decor. Designed by the talented local studio D/Dock, this lounge boasts a stylish 473 square meters of space filled with soft, curved shapes and a vibrant color palette of blues, purples, and playful pops of pink. It’s not just a lounge; it feels like stepping into a chic art installation. The lounge's design is meant to echo Amsterdam's famous canals, with arched entrances that give a nod to the city’s charm.
As you walk in, you’re greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light and offer views of the airfield. It’s the kind of place where you could easily lose track of time while sipping a cocktail and watching the planes take off. Speaking of cocktails, the bar is an absolute showstopper!
The lounge is open daily for eligible oneworld Emerald and Sapphire customers departing from Amsterdam on oneworld flights, as well as First and Business Class customers travelling with oneworld

What's included
If you’re feeling peckish, the self-serve buffet features a decent selection of hot dishes, salads, and cold cuts. During my visit, I was treated to hearty options like tagliatelle, meatballs, and even some delightful mini quiches. I found the warm couscous salad to be delicious. You can also hit the well stocked bar, wines. spirits and beers all included

Cozy and Functional Seating
The lounge layout is thoughtfully designed to cater to both work and relaxation. You’ll find a variety of seating options—from individual armchairs and cozy booths to loungers with a view of the planes outside. The design is as practical as it is stylish, featuring movable tables and ample USB ports and power outlets, so you can charge your devices without a hitch.
There’s even a dedicated area for business travelers, complete with soundproofed rooms for calls or meetings. It’s the perfect balance between a productive workspace and a comfy relaxation zone. Whether you want to catch up on emails or simply unwind before your flight, this lounge has you covered.
Best Bits
It’s refreshing to see the new space come alive with a vibrant atmosphere and a stylish design that reflects the oneworld brand.
Reviews
Horrible treatment for credit card lounge holders
We arrived at the lounge and asked to wait for 111 people in front of us. Basically, if you are not holding business class tickets you are denied to the lounge as I see passengers with business boarding pass enter the lounge directly while we credit card holders are left in the dust.I will write to the credit card company and complain about it.
Date of experience: June 2024
Bad Bits
The Lounge shares its access with Aspire lounge, so this can cause quite a back up in trying to get in and queues during peak times.
A Few Final Approach Thoughts
Overall, the oneworld Business Class Lounge at Amsterdam Schiphol is a fantastic addition to the airport. It offers a modern environment where you can relax, grab a drink, and prepare for your journey. The lounge’s impressive design, comfortable seating, and excellent amenities make it a must-visit for anyone flying with oneworld airlines.
So next time you find yourself flying out of Schiphol and your jetting off with one of the One World alliance members, run don't walk to the oneworld lounge, but your probably only going to get in if your flying business with a oneworld carrier.
